Our Mission
The Blue Eden Foundation supports using our oceans’ resources in a sustainable manner to fight climate change, clean up our waterways, and conserve healthy aquatic ecosystems worldwide.
The Problem
The earth is now around 2°F warmer than it was a century ago. Global temperature increases cause ocean levels to rise, lead to extreme weather events like heatwaves or hurricanes, and can upend entire ecosystems, thereby leading to food insecurity for hundreds of millions of people.
How We Help
The Blue Eden Foundation funds grants for both blue carbon initiatives (carbon captured by the world’s ocean and coastal ecosystems) and waterway cleanup projects. We also deploy resources to conserve marine environments for future generations.
